Showed development samples of the LED candle light 'Kvel' at Watari Museum of Contemporary Art in Jingumae, Tokyo, through September 11, 2016. Held during the Kvel crowdfunding campaign, visitors could pick up and experience the light firsthand.
Debuted at SaloneSatellite during Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy (April 12–17, 2016). Showed 'Kvel,' a sound-responsive candle light, and 'Fish,' a communication light co-developed with Osaka and Hyogo universities.
Zero by Zero designed and built the sound-visualization device used in NHK Discover Science (E-tele) episode 59 'Oto no Tottoseki,' broadcast December 27, 2014, with repeats on January 23 and 24, 2015.
Zero by Zero was featured on the 'Toretama' segment of World Business Satellite (TV Tokyo) on July 30, 2014. The segment covered the studio's sound-visualizing art and its commercialization.
Contributed two introductory articles about Zero by Zero's past works to DMM.make: one on installations using light and moiré effects, and one on works that visualize sound.
Exhibited the 100-meter LED installation 'Senko' at Roppongi Hills 66 Plaza during Roppongi Art Night 2014 (April 19–20). The largest oxoxo installation to date — flashes triggered by visitors collided at over 100 km/h.
Exhibited two works with AUN2H4 at Lighting Objet 2013 in Tokyo Building TOKIA, Marunouchi (December 12–25, 2013). 'Light Painting' — soft light from inserted cards — and 'Drop of Rainbow' — smartphone-drawn rainbows on a Christmas tree.
Performed live with KOYAS (YOGURT & KOYAS / Keikouto Band) at 'Densetsu no Kokyu Night' held at Chiba Raver's Cafe on August 31, 2013.
