Kvel at SaloneSatellite — 20 Years of New Creativity (Milano 2017)

From April 5 to 25, 2017, Zero by Zero exhibited Kvel at the SaloneSatellite 20th anniversary special exhibition "SaloneSatellite. 20 Years of New Creativity," held at La Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.

The exhibition was curated by Beppe Finessi to mark twenty years of SaloneSatellite. More than 500 projects and designers who had participated in SaloneSatellite since its founding in 1998 were brought together in one place, organized into three sections focused on typological innovation, material experimentation, and formal values. Kvel was among the works selected for inclusion.

Unlike the main SaloneSatellite venue at Fiera Milano Rho, this special exhibition was held at La Fabbrica del Vapore — a historic industrial building in the heart of Milan — giving it a distinctive character all its own.

Around the same time, Zero by Zero relocated its Tokyo studio to Kamata, Ota-ku. An opening party for the new atelier was held on April 15, celebrating the move with friends and collaborators.
