Kvel & Fish at SaloneSatellite 2016
We are proud to announce that we participate in the exhibition ’SaloneSatellite’ with our new designs. We will exhibit “Kvel”, a sparkling candlelight synchronised with sound, and “Fish”, a new concept “communication light” developed with Osaka University and University of Hyogo.
Kvel
Kvel is a new illumination that produces natural lights by sounds. Putting Kvel into a glass or a candleholder can enjoy warm light such as a candle. When you listen to or play some music with it, you can appreciate the visualized music. ( https://oxoxo.me/kvel/ )
Fish
Fish is a new concept “communication light” that bring swimming fish anywhere.
The Fish’s tail light acts as a signal for the other Fish to light up, as if it is responding to each other.
This light-chasing effect resembles that of a school of fish when multiple Fish is placed together.
Sea of lighting created by the Fish is limitless.
When placed in a line, it resembles a small river. When placed in a circle, its lighting resembles a pond. A large cluster of them can resemble an ocean. Different effect and atmosphere can be created depending on Fish’s placement and quantity.

Kvel – A candle light visualizes the sounds at Salone del Mobile Milano for the first time.
We exhibited “Kvel” – a candlelight that casts several lights reacting the music -at Salone del Mobile Milano in Italy, the biggest international furniture fair in the world, from 14th April 2015. “Kvel” is a new illumination, putting it into a glass or a candleholder you can enjoy various light figures according to color / shape of glass and surrounding sounds.
We are now developing for mass production.

Visualize Sound by Waterdrop [VECLOS]
We made the promotion movie with them.
The system visualize stunning clear sound from VECLOS by using a water drop.
The surface of water drop is dynamically changing with the sound.
