"White Dots Surface" is a digital artwork consisting of white dots arranged at equal intervals on a black background. Various moire patterns emerge depending on the viewer's environment and actions — pinching in/out on a smartphone, resizing the window on a PC, or photographing the screen at different angles.

Technically, the work actively exploits aliasing from digital image resampling. The artwork nominated among 30 finalists (from 1,585 entries) at Graphic Grand Prix by Yamaha in 2012.
