Brilliant Breaths — Kokyu 10th Anniversary

On January 19, 2013, Zero by Zero — in collaboration with VJ daahara under the name "oxoxo x daahara" — exhibited the installation "Brilliant Breaths" at cafe STAND in Nishi-Chiba, as part of the 10th anniversary party of local cultural venue "Kokyu."

Kokyu has been a beloved cafe and cultural hub rooted in the Nishi-Chiba community for years. Its 10th anniversary event featured a rich program across two floors, with DJs and live performances by numerous artists. Within this celebratory atmosphere, Brilliant Breaths cast shimmering light across the space, translating the energy of the crowd into luminous movement.

The piece is a continuation of Zero by Zero's "Brilliant Noise" series, exploring the resonance between sound and light. The voices of the gathered crowd and the music playing through the night became the very source of the light's flickering.
