Rokko Meets Art - Arts Walk 2012

From September 15 to November 25, 2012, Zero by Zero participated for a second time in "Rokko Meets Art — Arts Walk 2012," presenting a new installation on Mt. Rokko in Kobe.

Building on the success of Kaleidosky at the 2010 edition of the same festival, this return engagement challenged the studio to create a work of even greater scale, one that would integrate more deeply with Rokko Mountain's natural landscape.

During the festival, works by various artists were spread across multiple venues on the mountain — Rokko Garden Terrace, the Rokko Shidare natural observation deck, Rokko Country House, the Alpine Botanical Garden, the Music Box Museum, Rokko Mountain Hotel, the Rokko Cable, and Rokko Hilltop Gallery, among others. Visitors were free to roam the mountain at their own pace, discovering contemporary art amid the scenery.
