Rokko Meets Art - Arts Walk 2010

From September 18 to November 23, 2010, Zero by Zero participated in "Rokko Meets Art — Arts Walk 2010," a contemporary art festival spread across Mt. Rokko in Kobe, with the large-scale installation "Kaleidosky."

The festival brought together works by more than 40 artists across the mountain landscape. Kaleidosky was a towering kaleidoscope pointed skyward — step inside and look up, and the sky above Rokko Mountain appeared to expand infinitely in all directions.

Unlike conventional kaleidoscopes that rotate glass panels, Kaleidosky changed with the natural wind blowing through the mountain. Ever-shifting clouds, the slow turn of the sky's color through the day, stars drifting across the night sky — visitors could experience the sky of Rokko Mountain itself, framed and multiplied into something extraordinary.

Period: September 18 (Sat) – November 23 (Tue, holiday), 2010 Venue: Mt. Rokko summit area (including Rokko Garden Terrace) Organized by: Hanshin General Leisure Co., Ltd. / Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd.

From installation art to product development and spatial design. We create a wide range of works.
