2024年冬、名古屋の「キッテ 名古屋」で開催される「シンク リンク クリスマス（SYNC LINK CHRISTMAS）」では、巨大なクリスマスツリーが色とりどりにライトアップされ、来場者に新たな体験を提供しています。特に注目すべきは、来場者が自分の手でツリーの色を選べるインタラクティブな体験です。この体験を可能にするのが、ゼロバイゼロが開発に携わった「シェイクシンク（SHAKE SYNC）」というプロダクトです。

シェイクシンクは、数年前にゼロバイゼロが開発した振ることで光の色を変えたり、近づけて光を受け渡したりできる、ブロック型の発達支援玩具です。ツリーの色を変えるために特別に使用され、来場者はこのおもちゃを使って自分の選んだ色でツリーを光らせることができます。

]]> Hakuhodo, Osaka University, and Zero By Zero have jointly developed the glowing educational toy blocks “SHAKE SYNC” and will exhibit for the first time in Okayama from November 1st (Tuesday) at the lobby hall on the 1st floor of RSK Sanyo Broadcasting.

“SHAKE SYNC” is a block-type developmental support toy that can change the color of light by shaking it, or bring it closer to another one. Through the fun of freely arranging, stacking, and designing light, children’s imagination and self-expression are brought out. The light art “Yuragi no Ma(ゆらぎの間)” using “SHAKE SYNC” will be exhibited for the first time in Okayama. The concept is an immersive healing experience that appears as an extension of everyday life. The light emitted by “SHAKE SYNC” is a rhythm that humans feel comfortable.
It has a “1/f fluctuation”, and by arranging it in front of a folding screen with a full-surface mirror, the light diffusely reflects inside the mirror, creating a new healing worldview with an immersive feeling. During the exhibition period, we will also prepare a space where you can freely experience “SHAKE SYNC”. Please take this opportunity to experience the possibilities of “SHAKE SYNC”, which can be enjoyed not only by children but also by adults as a playful interior.

Zero by Zero Solo Exhibition – Waterhythm
For the first time in 10 years, we will hold the exhibition at KOCA (Ota-ku, Tokyo), where the studio is located. Since its formation in 2008, Zero-by-Zero has focused on natural objects and phenomena such as sound, light and water in various forms, and has published works pursuing their beauty and mystery. At this exhibition we will show two recent works of water and light installations, SHAKE SYNC AUDIO (cooperation by TOA and Hakuhodo), and the LED candle light Arom currently on sale. In addition, we will also hold an opening party after noon on the first day. We plan to perform live and DJ by guests. I hope you can enjoy the sound and light in space installations syncronized with floor music. I hope we can talk about the current situation, so please come and see our works!

Our product “Kvel” has been selected for the SaloneSatellite. 20 Years of New Creativity exhibition in Milan during the Salone del Mobile.

The exhibition brings together more than 500 projects and designers who have taken part in the Salone Satelite since its inception in 1998. It will present an anthology of pieces that have gone into production or have influenced future work. Curated by Beppe Finessi there are three sections in the exhibition:

  • Typological innovation-based approach, revisiting the traditional shapes of domestic objects
  • Constructive experimentation – new materials and recycling.
  • Formal innovation with a focus more on the sculptural value and the decorative.
